Executive Summary
HAIA stands for Human Artificial Intelligence Assistant. It is the ecosystem that structures a human’s interaction with AI, specifically with large language models, across every stage of collaboration: how the AI is instructed, how its output is evaluated, how multiple platforms are orchestrated in parallel, how the human’s own growth is measured, and how every prompt and response is logged with cryptographic integrity so the full record is tamper-evident and auditable.
HAIA is not a platform and it is not a product. It is the structured way a human works with AI and governs what that work produces. Every component in the ecosystem has its own published specification, and this paper tells the reader what HAIA is, why it exists, what problems it addresses, and how the pieces connect, so that every component specification makes more sense after reading this document than it would without it.
Every component in the HAIA ecosystem was designed through discovery. HAIA is the human-AI collaboration across everything the practitioner does: researching and writing content, organizing and sharing it, creating quantitative measurement instruments, writing code, developing governance infrastructure, and producing policy arguments, all of it rooted in ethics, strategy, and methods. During that work, failures appeared. AI fabricated sources while platforms disagreed with each other in patterns that carried information; human authority vanished inside a workflow without the system detecting it until the human caught it; growth could not be measured; and output cleared every checkpoint and still failed to communicate. Each of those failures produced a component that addressed the specific problem practice had revealed, not by eliminating the risk but by minimizing it and creating the opportunity for the human to catch what the AI misses, and each response revealed the next gap in an unbroken chain from November 2012 to March 2026.
Part One: What Problems HAIA Addresses
Most people using AI today follow the same pattern: type a question, receive an answer, trust the answer, and move on. There is no indication of how confident the AI is, where the information came from, whether the AI is guessing, or whether anyone should trust the answer. When a mistake happens, there is often no record of who decided what, when they decided it, or why, and the human who was supposed to be in charge turns out not to have been in charge at all. Nobody designed it that way; it happened because no one built a structure to prevent it.
The AI governance conversation has two common failure modes. The first treats governance as a safety layer bolted on after the system is built, where the AI runs and humans review outputs when time permits and governance becomes the compliance requirement that slows things down. This produces what the HAIA ecosystem calls Responsible AI: work runs fully automated until a human receives the final output, which creates high risk whenever a point of no return is crossed before any human has seen the work.
The second failure mode treats AI as the decision-maker and humans as the reviewers of AI decisions, inverting the authority structure entirely. When identical outputs from multiple platforms are treated as consensus rather than as a risk signal requiring verification outside the AI ecosystem, the human governor has already been removed from the system without anyone noticing.
HAIA exists because neither failure mode is acceptable and because an alternative is demonstrable.
At the individual practitioner level, RECCLIN Reasoning gives a single AI platform a structured job description and requires it to show its work, which means a person with a free-tier account and the willingness to apply the format consistently can govern their own AI use starting today with no additional tools. At the multi-platform level, RECCLIN Dispatch and CAIPR give the human governor a protocol for distributing work across multiple AI platforms and using their disagreements as governance signals rather than noise to smooth away. At the enterprise level, GOPEL provides the governed communication infrastructure that makes multi-AI collaboration auditable, hash-chained, and tamper-evident, while HAIA-Agent provides the three Agent Operating Models that allow organizations to choose the level of automation appropriate to their risk tolerance. At the policy level, the AI Provider Plurality Congressional Package proposes that no single AI system should hold unchecked authority over consequential decisions, and that structural diversity across platforms is a governance requirement rather than a preference, with GOPEL serving as the infrastructure specification designed to make that plurality accountable at national scale.
CBG runs at every layer because the human governor’s authority is the constant even as the scale changes. HEQ answers the question that every enterprise and policy maker should ask but usually cannot: did AI collaboration grow the human, or did it merely offload work to the machine? The answer is not assumed but measured, and the measurement closes back to Factics, which is where everything started.
Part Two: What HAIA Is
The Three-Pillar Architecture
The complete body of work rests on three pillars, two of which stand independently while one serves as the center.
Pillar One: Factics, founded in November 2012, is a pre-AI human methodology and the intellectual bedrock of everything that follows. Factics sits outside HAIA because it existed before HAIA was conceivable, and when AI became operationally available it entered a workflow already governed by Factics rigor. Factics is not a component of HAIA but rather the condition that made HAIA possible, and it is also the feedback terminus of the full system: when HEQ measurement reveals that collaboration quality is stalling, that is a Factics signal and the loop closes back to the foundational discipline.
Pillar Two: CBG (Checkpoint-Based Governance), currently at canonical version 5.0, is not an AI framework. CBG governs the human governor at every binding decision point in a human-AI workflow, defining when human judgment is constitutionally required, what authority that judgment carries, and what accountability follows from each checkpoint decision. CBG sits outside HAIA because its subject is the human rather than the AI, and it supports HAIA as the constitutional authority that makes the human governor’s decisions binding.
Pillar Three: HAIA is the center, the ecosystem rooted in the human-AI collaboration process itself. Every framework, specification, and methodology that structures how a human interacts with AI platforms, how those platforms present output, how that output is evaluated, how multiple platforms are orchestrated, how the human’s growth is measured, and how the full communication record is logged and hash-chained for audit carries the HAIA name or operates directly within the HAIA ecosystem.
The two independent pillars and the center work together but they are architecturally distinct. A practitioner can operate Factics with no AI at all, and a practitioner can operate CBG checkpoints with no AI platform. A practitioner operating HAIA without CBG is in Responsible AI mode, where the machine checks the machine and the human is not constitutionally required to intervene at checkpoints. A practitioner combining HAIA with CBG is in AI Governance mode, where the human governor exercises authority at governed checkpoints and a single dissenting platform can be sufficient cause for the governor to overturn the majority. The independence of the pillars is a design strength, because each serves a purpose that does not depend on the others to function, and together they produce a governance architecture that covers the human’s thinking discipline, the human’s constitutional authority, and the AI’s governed execution.
The Three-Tier Distinction
The distinction that matters most for understanding where HAIA sits in the governance conversation is the three-tier framework.
Ethical AI asks whether something should be done at all, which is the principles layer covering values, commitments, and aspirational statements. Ethical AI is necessary but not sufficient because it expresses intent without specifying enforcement.
Responsible AI asks who answers when something fails, which is the organizational practices layer covering internal controls, documentation, risk management, and compliance. The machine checks the machine, automated checks validate against automated checks, and parameters verify against parameters. Responsible AI translates values into machine behavior, which is valuable but not governance.
AI Governance asks who decides, by what authority, and at what checkpoint, which is the external oversight layer where the human governor exercises authority at governed checkpoints. Humans face personal consequences for error and machines do not, and the human governor operates under incentive structures that no machine possesses: moral judgment from peers and profession, employment consequence for poor performance, civil liability for negligent judgment, and criminal prosecution for gross recklessness. That difference in incentive structure is what separates governance from Responsible AI, because the entity that builds the system should not serve as the final authority on whether the system is safe.
HAIA operates in all three tiers. RECCLIN Reasoning without CBG is Responsible AI, and RECCLIN Reasoning with CBG is AI Governance. The difference is not speed or scale but where the human governor stands in the decision chain.

Part Three: The Components
HAIA-RECCLIN: The Structured Output Format
RECCLIN stands for seven distinct functions (Researcher, Editor, Coder, Calculator, Liaison, Ideator, and Navigator) and governs how each AI platform responds to the human through two capabilities.
RECCLIN Reasoning is the structured output instruction that tells the AI to show its work by stating the role, confirming the task, producing the output, citing the sources, flagging conflicts, reporting confidence, noting expiry, applying the Factics triad (Fact, Tactic, KPI), making a recommendation, and presenting a decision point for human approval, which produces ten defined fields in every response.
RECCLIN Dispatch is the multi-AI role assignment method, where one platform handles one role in series with errors and conflicts routed back to the originating platform. Dispatch emerged when structured Reasoning outputs revealed that platforms have distinct strengths across tasks: Perplexity for research, Claude for code and strategic depth, Grok for unexpected angles, Gemini for planning and visual output, and OpenAI for structure and logic.
The Navigator role deserves particular attention because it is the only role specifically designed to hold conflict without resolving it. When platforms disagree, the Navigator documents the disagreement with full rationale from each side and presents the trade-offs to the human governor, who is the only one who picks a winner. This design prevents AI consensus from overwriting legitimate minority positions, which is how the ecosystem catches errors that majority agreement would otherwise bury.
Reading a RECCLIN response is not passive. Done daily over months, the format trains the human to evaluate AI rather than accept it, and that cognitive development of the human operating the system turned out to be as important as the output governance that was the original intention. RECCLIN is where the HAIA practice begins, accessible on any free-tier platform with no subscription required.
HAIA-CAIPR: Parallel Multi-AI Orchestration
HAIA-CAIPR (Cross AI Platform Review) governs the human governor’s orchestration of multiple AI platforms running in parallel through eight core operations: parallel dispatch, structured collection, cross-platform comparison, hallucination detection, convergence analysis, synthesizer oversight, source-authority discrimination, and platform resilience management. Tier 0 is the human governor, Tier 1 is raw platform output, and Tier 2 is synthesizer output, which carries the highest scrutiny because a synthesizer that combines AI outputs can introduce errors that no individual platform produced.
CAIPR requires odd-number platform counts (3, 5, 7, 9, or 11) to produce a structural majority signal, and that signal is a Responsible AI operational mechanism that the human evaluates at the checkpoint. CBG is the authority that allows the human governor to disregard that signal entirely if human judgment requires it.
One of the most important insights from CAIPR practice is that identical convergence is a risk signal rather than a green light, because when every platform agrees perfectly without dissent, something may be wrong. Full agreement among systems built on overlapping training data foundations is not independent confirmation and may indicate shared bias instead.
CAIPR does not replace RECCLIN Dispatch but extends the method for a different operational context and resource level, and RECCLIN Reasoning runs inside every CAIPR workflow so the structured accountability chain is present at every platform regardless of whether the platforms operate in series or in parallel.
HAIA-GOPEL: The Governed Communication Channel
GOPEL (Governance Orchestrator Policy Enforcement Layer) is the governed communication channel through which all prompts and outputs travel in Models 1 and 2 of the Agent architecture. It has been created and coded as a proof of concept but is not yet in production deployment. GOPEL performs seven operations (dispatch, collect, route, log, pause, hash, and report) with zero cognitive work by design. That constraint is a security feature rather than a limitation, because a communication channel that can think can be manipulated, and GOPEL moves and records without interpreting or deciding.
SHA-256 hash-chaining creates a tamper-evident audit trail, and the Navigator lives outside GOPEL in every operating configuration to preserve the separation between the communication infrastructure and the cognitive function that evaluates what the communication produced. GOPEL carries the Discretionary Audit Policy, which means GOPEL produces audit material while the deploying organization controls the cadence and standards of that audit. Two published extensions expand the cryptographic layer: CPE v1.1 applies RFC 9334 RATS attestation and confidential computing, and the Post-Quantum Cryptographic Agility Amendment v1.2 applies FIPS 203, 204, and 205.
HAIA-Agent: Orchestration Automation
In Models 1 and 2, GOPEL provides the governed channel and HAIA-Agent determines how that channel is used by automating the mechanics of HAIA orchestration at scale: dispatching prompts, collecting outputs, routing materials, and logging operations, all with zero cognitive work by design.
Three Agent Operating Models define the spectrum from full automation to full human control. Model 1 (Agent Responsible AI) runs the full RECCLIN pipeline without stopping, executing three platforms per role in sequence with Navigator synthesis at the end and one comprehensive governance package delivered to the human governor, who exercises CBG authority once at the final output. Model 2 (Agent AI Governance) handles dispatch, collection, and routing but pauses after each RECCLIN functional role, presenting three-platform output plus dissent documentation to the human governor, who reviews and approves before the next role begins. Model 3 (Manual Human AI Governance) operates without the agent and without GOPEL entirely, with the human governor serving as Navigator and orchestrating manually while logging the work through the Navigator platform or through manual documentation. All published work and case studies in the HAIA corpus were produced under Model 3 and documented through Navigator platforms, not through GOPEL, because GOPEL has not yet moved from proof of concept to production. Model 3 is the gold standard because no automated intermediary touched the evidence.
The choice between models is a governance decision that maps directly to the three-tier framework, because the question is not which model runs faster but which model places the human governor at the checkpoints the organization’s risk profile requires. The HAIA-RECCLIN Agent Architecture has been published in a dedicated EU Regulatory Compliance Edition that maps the three operating models against EU AI Act requirements, demonstrating how CBG checkpoint authority aligns with existing international regulatory expectations for human oversight of AI systems.
HAIA-HEQ: Measuring Human Growth
The HAIA ecosystem produces a claim that structured AI collaboration enhances human capability rather than replacing it, and HEQ (Human Enhancement Quotient) was built to answer that claim with measurement rather than assertion.
HEQ produces a composite score across four dimensions: Cognitive Agility Speed (CAS), Ethical Alignment Index (EAI), Collaborative Intelligence Quotient (CIQ), and Adaptive Growth Rate (AGR). The composite output is the Augmented Intelligence Score (AIS), which measures what the human and AI produce together that neither could produce alone, and the overarching discipline is Human-AI Collaborative Intelligence (HACI). CIQ scores lowest consistently across all tested participants because most people trust AI too much and challenge it too little, which explains why RECCLIN’s cognitive development function matters as much as its output governance function.
HEQ can establish whether a human-AI collaboration framework or skill set already exists, determine whether one is growing, and show whether training or strategy changes result in better collaborative work. It also has limits, because growth does not continue indefinitely, and the same instrument that measures improvement can also surface diminished returns, identify practitioners who have stopped collaborating and are simply offloading work, or reveal reduced effectiveness and effort over time. HEQ is not a growth-only metric; it is a diagnostic that measures the full range of collaborative performance, including decline.
Growth OS predates HEQ and provides the foundational argument: there is measurable value in human-AI collaboration, and organizations that embrace the increased capability that collaboration produces will outperform those that try to replace humans with AI. HEQ is the measurement instrument that makes that argument empirically verifiable, producing the score that proves whether collaboration is generating growth or whether the human is simply being displaced.
The feedback loop that closes the full ecosystem runs from HEQ back to Factics. A stalling AIS score is a KPI, and a KPI that shows insufficient growth is a Factics failure signal that sends the practitioner back to the foundational discipline to reassess and recalibrate. Factics is both the entry point and the terminus, and that closed loop is the architecture.
HAIA-CORE and HAIA-SMART: Content Quality
Even after all of the governance and measurement above, one class of failure remains: a governed document can still fail to communicate, and a social media post can be accurate and still fall flat. Governance ensures that the output is structured, sourced, and accountable, but it does not ensure that the output reaches the audience.
HAIA-CORE (Content Optimization Reader Evaluation) evaluates the long-form content itself, covering blogs, articles, and white papers. It assesses substance through five dimensions (Hook Quality, Narrative Flow, Reader Resonance, Clarity and Retention Friction, and Call-to-Action Strength) with each dimension scored using the Factics triad, and it answers the question of whether the content is worth publishing.
HAIA-SMART evaluates what happens after the content is written: the social media posts that share those blogs and articles on LinkedIn, Facebook, and other platforms. SMART governs communication quality through six pillars (Hook Quality, Relational Coherence, Perceived Outperformance, Call-to-Action Strength, Semantic Integrity, and Predicted Engagement Authenticity) with two optimization paths, where Path A (Algorithmic Optimization) governs platform-native performance and Path B (Organic Resonance) governs authenticity and audience relationship. SMART answers the question of whether the post that shares the content will connect with the audience it needs to reach.
CORE governs the substance while SMART governs the distribution, and the two carry different dimensional structures because they measure different things. CORE’s five dimensions assess whether long-form content works for readers and search. SMART’s six pillars assess whether a social post works for algorithms and audience attention. Both apply the Factics triad method, but the dimensions themselves are purpose-built for their respective domains.
Part Four: The Adoption Ladder
The ladder describes the order a practitioner enters the HAIA ecosystem, with Factics preceding the ladder, CBG operating at every layer, and HEQ running parallel to every layer.
The starting point before HAIA is Factics alone: the evidentiary discipline that requires no AI and serves as the thinking standard that makes everything else work. Layer 1 is RECCLIN Reasoning, which produces structured AI output that shows its work on any single platform, free tier accessible, no subscription required. Layer 2 is RECCLIN Dispatch, where multi-AI role assignment operates in series with platform strengths applied to defined functions based on what Reasoning outputs revealed. Layer 3 is HAIA-CAIPR, where parallel multi-AI orchestration adds convergence analysis, hallucination detection, and source-authority discrimination with odd-number platform counts required. Layer 4 is HAIA-Agent, where orchestration automation introduces the three Agent Operating Models governing checkpoint density and automation level. Layer 5 is the full stack plus HAIA-GOPEL, the governed communication channel with cryptographic audit trail, seven deterministic operations, and federal deployment readiness.
CBG runs parallel to every layer and its presence converts Responsible AI practice into AI Governance practice anywhere on the ladder. HEQ runs parallel to every layer, measuring whether the practice is producing human growth regardless of where the practitioner sits. HAIA-CORE and HAIA-SMART activate as conditional branches at any layer when the output is content.
Nobody starts at the infrastructure layer, and the ecosystem is designed for progressive adoption.
Part Five: The Minds That Shaped HAIA
While Part Seven describes the hands-on work of using AI every day and finding the problems that produced the components, there was a parallel track running at the same time: reading, researching, and studying the minds who had been working on AI governance, ethics, safety, and economics long before any of this ecosystem existed.
That parallel track started with Geoffrey Hinton. When the person widely referred to as the godfather of AI left Google to speak freely about the systems he had helped create, the question was immediate: why would someone of that influence leave a company of that scale, and what had he seen that made staying impossible? The deeper that question went, the more it revealed that the problems showing up in daily practice were not early-technology bugs but structural features that the most credentialed minds in the field had been studying for years.
The research began in earnest in September 2025 with a systematic evaluation of twenty-two thought leaders, first published at basilpuglisi.com as a multi-AI comparative analysis. The method was deliberate: read their published work, study their arguments, then use AI to simulate their perspectives against the HAIA frameworks, testing what each thinker would challenge, what they would endorse, and where their critiques exposed blind spots the practitioner had not yet addressed. That process grew the list from twenty-two to twenty-four as the research itself surfaced gaps, and the evaluation used three scoring dimensions (Depth, Immediate Critique, and Future Partner) subjected to the same multi-AI methodology used for everything else.
The twenty-four thinkers organized naturally into five waves. The Builders (Hinton, Bengio, Ng, Li, Hassabis) taught where the capability came from and why its speed matters. The Ethicists (Gebru, Buolamwini, Crawford, Whittaker) taught who gets harmed when capability moves faster than accountability. The Regulators and Economists (Khan, Acemoglu, Brynjolfsson, Toner, Newman) taught how to measure the cost, map the market structure, and translate standards into practice. The Philosophers (Russell, Bostrom, Yudkowsky, Kurzweil, Harari) taught why governance architecture has to survive contact with systems that may eventually be smarter than the people governing them. The Governance Architects (Amodei, Cousineau, Singh, Revanur) taught what operational infrastructure looks like when someone actually builds it rather than writing another principles document.
Those simulated interactions changed what was built. Khan’s antitrust argument provided the structural vocabulary for AI Provider Plurality before that policy had a name. Gebru’s documentation work shaped the transparency requirements in every HAIA specification. Russell’s preference uncertainty principle mirrored the governance requirement that no single AI should be treated as authoritative. The disagreements among the twenty-four thinkers proved as instructive as their individual contributions, and those disagreements were preserved rather than resolved because the practice of running multiple AI platforms had already taught that forced convergence hides uncertainty while preserved dissent records it.
The methodology also exposed its own blind spot. Five AI platforms reviewed the complete manuscript without flagging the absence of the third recipient of the 2018 Turing Award, Yann LeCun, and the human caught the gap during a manual review of the full work. That discovery is the evidence, not the argument, for why the methodology insists on keeping a human at the checkpoint.
The risk domains Hinton identified produced the research that became the first book, Governing AI: When Capability Exceeds Control by Basil C. Puglisi, which introduced Checkpoint-Based Governance and formalized the multi-AI methodology. The research track produced the second, The Minds That Bend the Machine: The Voices Shaping Responsible AI Governance (anticipated April 2026), which tells the full story of learning AI through simulated engagement with the minds who created, questioned, and constrained it. Part Six: The Legislative Extension
The HAIA ecosystem produced a policy argument that extends from individual practice to federal infrastructure. The AI Provider Plurality Congressional Package, consisting of four documents plus the Verified AI Inference Standards Act (VAISA), was submitted to members of the 119th Congress including Rep. Ted Lieu, Rep. Josh Gottheimer, Rep. Zoe Lofgren, Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., and Congressman Hakeem Jeffries, and distributed across GitHub, SSRN, and basilpuglisi.com.
The core policy argument holds that no single AI system should hold unchecked authority over consequential decisions and that structural diversity across platforms is a governance requirement rather than a preference, with GOPEL serving as the infrastructure specification designed to make that plurality auditable, accountable, and interoperable at national scale. The precedent is infrastructure that already exists: FAA for aviation, FCC for broadcast, and SEC for financial markets.
The deepest argument in this body of work is not about enterprise governance or federal infrastructure or academic measurement but about what kind of relationship a civilization should build with systems it is creating and cannot fully control. AI Provider Plurality is not primarily a technical proposal but a structural hedge, because if any single AI develops badly the plurality of others creates the balance that no single well-governed system can guarantee alone.

GOPEL is an example of how this could work, not a claim that it is the only way. The specification exists and the code exists to demonstrate that auditable, hash-chained, non-cognitive governance infrastructure can be built at national scale. Whether the solution that is ultimately adopted carries the GOPEL name or takes a different form is less important than the fact that the structure and proof of concept already exist, showing that it can be done.
Part Seven: Designed Through Discovery
Everything described in the preceding sections exists because of a specific chain of events that began in 2012 and continues through March 2026. This section tells that chain for the reader who wants to know not just what the ecosystem contains but how a specific practitioner’s work produced it in this specific order and what makes the origin unique.
The Foundation That Predates AI
The story does not start with artificial intelligence but with a conference room full of people who paid to learn something and left with nothing they could use. The digital industry in the early 2010s lacked a coherent method for transferring knowledge, and in February 2012, at Social Media Week NYC, a concept called Teachers, Not Speakers proposed that attendees should leave equipped with templates, frameworks, and strategies ready to implement rather than merely inspired. Later that year, at the NYXPO at New York City’s Javits Center, the underlying structure received a name: Factics, which pairs facts with tactics and measurable outcomes, asking three questions of any piece of content: what are the facts, what are the tactics, and what is the key performance indicator that tells you whether the work produced something real?
Factics was not an invention but a formalization of a discipline that consulting work had enforced since 2008 and 2009. Hundreds of published articles, consulting engagements, and a nonprofit publication platform called Digital Ethos with more than fifty contributors all operated under that standard before it had a name.
The Checkpoint Before It Had a Name
At the height of visible work in digital media, the practitioner whose work produced this ecosystem entered the Port Authority Police Academy, and law enforcement eliminated any remaining illusion that authority is the same thing as presence. Information arrived incomplete, time compressed every decision, oversight followed every action, and accountability attached to a specific name, a specific shield number, and specific choices.
High-consequence decisions require structured intervention points, and a specific operational memory grounds the entire checkpoint architecture. Running the vehicle registration before approaching a car during a stop is the first gate, because the registration tells the officer about the vehicle and the possible driver: warrants, suspended licenses, and orders of protection. The second gate comes after identifying the occupants with identification and running them through the NCIC, which means two gates and two checkpoints, each producing information that changes how the next decision is made. The checkpoint concept is not new. Every industry and career has standard operating procedures, hierarchies of authority, and structured decision points that exist for documented reasons. Checkpoint-Based Governance is a revisiting of what human labor, both manual and academic, already accepts and expects in other contexts. The patrol experience hammered it home and highlighted what happens when someone skips the checkpoint: the information that changes everything is unavailable at the moment it matters most.
The Thread Across Three Careers
There is a thread that runs through every professional environment that preceded AI: confident delivery that did not equal complete truth. Sociology taught structure and unintended consequence while criminal justice taught that accountability lands on specific people whether they want it or not, and a Master of Public Administration from Michigan State added execution, because policy on paper means nothing until it survives contact with budgets, institutions, and the people who have to carry it out.
The research from Henrich et al. (2010) and later Atari et al. (2023) confirmed what three careers had already established: confident delivery does not equal complete truth, and institutional legitimacy does not protect against selective framing. The Injury, the Return, and the Name
Twelve years is a long time to cap a voice. The Port Authority had no social media policy for uniformed officers, and a person who had spent a decade as a publisher, a speaker at events including Social Media Week, the Social Media Camp, Social Media Day of Giving, the #140Conf, and Stony Brook University SBA, appointed to the Social Media Club Global Board of Directors at SXSW in 2013, and the author of hundreds of articles on digital media, stepped into a role where that entire public identity was suppressed.
The content work had never fully stopped because social media blogs and SEO blogs were still being written during law enforcement, just not distributed publicly. During that period, basilpuglisi.com itself lapsed without renewal and someone pointed the domain to a clothing website to redirect traffic.
AI entered the workflow in December 2022, but that was a blip and the real expansion came in 2023 when being home injured and no longer working as a patrol police officer allowed more time for blogging and AI. The fabrication problem was there from the beginning and has never stopped: ChatGPT produced strong answers but fabricated sources, consistently, from first use through to today. The response came in 2023 when the practice that later became RECCLIN Reasoning was added, demanding that the AI show its facts, tactics, KPIs, and sources after every output, and then Perplexity was brought in to validate what ChatGPT produced, creating the first multi-AI workflow.
The physical limitation came later when a second injury in 2024, a result of the first, led to a shoulder surgery in September 2025 that removed the use of the dominant arm.
